THE BODY When we're feeling a certain way, we carry that energy in our body. Our mood affects our posture and our stomachs. Feelings affect our nervous system. Often times people are stuck in a fight or flight state and the body is always under stress, the adrenals always running. We use Yoga postures to help the body release blocked energy, toxins and stress. Yoga helps open and lengthen the body often producing great benefits in posture and chronic pain relief. Asana's are tailored to a clients specific needs. Need a heavy detox? Lots of twists for you! We also discuss routines around diet and regular exercise.
THE MIND As we grow, we form beliefs based on our experiences. Over time we evolve and these old beliefs about the world and ourselves become disruptive and out dated, often times holding us back or manifesting as pain in the body. When this happens we often find ourselves repeating habits and patterns. Through Time Line Therapy techniques (AERT) and Past Life Regression, we go back and integrate the new wisdom, activating a new behaviour.

THE THREE MODALITIES
HYPNOTHERAPY is a neuroscience and mindfulness based therapy. It happens in a state of very light trance. A state where your conscious and subconscious minds are both present. In this relaxed state the Hypnotherapist guides you through a series of imagery, designed to help reprogram or find a new perspective on a habit, belief or identity paradigm. The state of relaxation feels similar to a deep meditation. The goal is to be aware of the changes on both your conscious, and subconscious levels. It's in the conscious mind where our META models and filters are. These process the way we see the world. 'Cleaning out' these filters, or releasing these limiting beliefs, allows our brain to create ecological new pathways, resulting in the creation of new habits and ways of being. Hypnotherapy is also excellent for finding feelings of self worth and realignment with your purpose.
REIKI is an ancient Japanese Healing art . In a Reiki session, the practitioner uses symbols and breath to guide the universal energies around the client to aid in the healing and harmonizing of the clients energy field/biosphere. Reiki is done with a very light touch, or no touch at all. It has been recorded to help with anxiety and sleep issues. Research has also shown Reiki to be helpful in reducing chronic pain and insomnia. Reiki is also known for its distance healing capabilities. Once a rapport is created, you can be anywhere in the world to receive reiki.
YOGA originates in India and is thousands of years old. Yoga asana or yoga poses, were created so one could sit in meditation longer. Yoga poses were designed to open and free the body, creating length, strength and flexibility. You do not need to be flexible to do yoga, In fact, if you are inflexible, yoga is exactly what you need. Yoga can be for any age. Even seniors with mobility issues can practice some form of chair yoga.
They're a similar technique however, during deep Hypnosis the client goes into a deep state of trance and doesn't remember much of the journey. Hypnotherapy is a much lighter state of trance. Hypnotherapy happens in the space where your conscious and subconscious minds meet. You will remember your session, and will be communicative during the whole process.
